Vision-assisted lifting safety
Check crane-hook engagement before lifting.
In steel-plant ladle handling, the overhead-crane hooks must engage correctly with the ladle lifting points. The Ladle Hook Monitoring System uses industrial cameras and machine vision to inspect the hook-to-ladle connection and provide a clear status to the crane operator before handling begins.
Core capabilities
Engineered for steel-plant conditions
Camera positions, lighting, protective enclosures and detection logic are designed around the crane, ladle geometry and operating environment. The system can record inspection events and interface with available crane controls where the plant's approved safety design permits.
The system supports established operating procedures and safety interlocks; it does not replace the crane operator's required inspection or the plant's lifting-safety practices.
